Where you are

Santa Sofia

A historic village of Tuscan-Romagna, set along the Bidente river, in the province of Forlì-Cesena. Its origins date back to the Middle Ages, when it emerged as a crossing point between the valley and the Apennine passes toward Tuscany. Today it is the gateway to the Casentino Forests National Park: a lively centre, with shops, restaurants and an ancient bridge over the river that lights up warmly every evening.
